Before we get started I want to read your entire manuscript. Afterward, let’s chat and set up a 45-minute call to discuss your manuscript, story ideas, and problems with it.

BOOK COACHING -

Send me your manuscript and any additional notes we’ve agreed on from our call. I will read through everything you have and prepare an outline for us to work from.

This should help with issues including:

  • Plot holes

  • Character arc

  • Character motivation

  • Secondary characters

  • Pacing

  • Tension

  • Stakes

  • Worldbuilding

This comes with a 30-minute Zoom call every week as we work on and discuss the changes you make and answer any questions that you may have during the process.

In this year-long program, I walk you through the fundamentals of story, work with you on an outline, then coach you through your first full draft.

  • We start with the foundation of your story for the first few weeks

  • When you start drafting: two deadlines/month of up to 30 pages

  • One 30-minute phone call after each deadline

  • On-going email support

  • Accountability to keep you on track to finish your draft

CREATIVE WRITING CLASS -​

This class focuses on using informal, playful, and expressive writing as a way to strengthen skills of language and thinking. Out of these informal writing activities, using techniques of peer response, students develop more polished pieces, ranging from personal narratives to short stories, poems, brief dramatic works, and experiments in creative nonfiction.

Needs 6  students to make

Price: $300 for this 3-month class

CRITIQUE GROUPS - 

The group meets weekly and will be moderated. Each person will receive 20 minutes biweekly for reading their work and then receiving useful suggestions from each member.
